Fascinating.
If Obama was born in HI, as I believe, then Obama meets more of the proposed criteria for NBC than Cruz.
If Obama was born in Canada or British East Africa, as some believe, then his situation is pretty nearly identical to that of Cruz.
Which is interesting, because I suspect a good many of those claiming Obama was not NBC would back off the same complaint against Cruz.
This is one reason why I do not like the idea of pushing Cruz as President; it solidifies the precedent.

Which is exactly the reason I will not — the Constitution's restrictions must apply when they are inconvenient to me and my preferences/convenience, otherwise it has no restrictive power at all as it would only constrain me where I agree with it.
Or you can be like Jerome Corsi and believe Obama was born both in HI and Kenya.
If Obama was born in 1961 outside the U.S., he would not be a U.S. Citizen at birth.
His birth would have been governed by the 1952 Immigration Act. The provisions of that act for a child born outside the U.S. to one citizen parent and one non-citizen parent requires that the citizen parent had to reside in the U.S. for 10 years, 5 of which had to be after their 14th birthday. Obama’s mom would have been to young to transfer citizenship to him.
I believe Obama’s birth in Kenya was mama Stanley Ann’s way/method, along with her communist parents, to have an official birth apart from the Indonesian Guru sperm doner. Light skin, dark skin or any shade between would fit the condition.

Except Obama’s mama did not meet the requirements to confer citizenship to any child born abroad at that time.
