I expect that requests for transfers and applications for other areas will skyrocket in the next few months.
Many can quickly find jobs in other departments around the U.S. This would be better than being killed or maimed for life. Dead people don’t pay mortgages. Their life insurance might, but then I am sure they would trade that house in a heartbeat for their husband.
what needs to happen is that other communities need to offer jobs in there police departments to police officers in Ferguson. to protest the justice department and the police chief being forced out of his job. see how the community likes it when the federal government is forced to police there community,
But they could all call in sick for a month. They should all stop even going into black areas except to scoop up dead bodies. And they should stop investigating any crime committed by black people.

I agree with you that they have a lot of financial obligations, but who will make those payments if they are lying in the street with a bullet hole through their head? PD’s across the country are screaming for qualified police applicants. Most if not all could hire on with another agency.

A month from now those people still there will feel the same way - wish they had gotten out the month before. Black cops should get out too...
Pretty much the reasons why things are the way they are, and most are waiting for a "leader" to emerge, before committing to taking action to restore the republic.
