Columbia, MO --(Ammoland.com)- Larry and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA, will make a $100,000 donation to the NRA/ILA National Endowment for the Protection of the Second Amendment.

The donation is being made in honor of NRA/ILA’s hard work in rallying NRA members and Congress to combat the ATF’s proposed changes to the M855/SS109 ammo exemption framework. The donation also celebrates ATF’s recent decision to refrain from seeking to issue a final framework at this time.

Good on them. I donated $100 and I got a near-daily phone call asking for more. I wonder how many calls these folks are gonna get.

I tied my Amazon account to The NRA Foundation, Inc; so they get a percentage of every dollar I spend on Amazon. I think it’s 4%.

An FYI: You need to use that link each time you shop there for the free donation to be made.

They could a raised more than that by selling a few thousand rounds of their green tip ammo cache at last weekend’s gun show.

Bet there is a lot of “paid $800 for the last case on the table” remorse around gun country this week.

Tulip bulbs, Beanie Babies, Longenberger, real estate, and now green tips. At least you can shoot the green tip.
