Why Hillary’s Talking Points Don’t Add Up

I'm not sure if I should be surprised that she went all in on this one or not. There is the very real risk that she could now be caught in an outright lie. She stated that she gave up any and all emails related to work. What this means is that she is risking something, anything, showing up later that she didn't disclose that she sent to someone else. She needs to be held making this statement under oath as soon as possible. The hole in this is... if she was communicating with other people who ALSO used her email server as an account. In that case, those emails would less likely exist anywhere outside of the email servers self-contained disks. however, some users (like me) download and cache all of their email locally on their PC so the risk is still there.

Of course, the fact remains that she avoided the gov systems for a specific reason: to avoid scrutiny and FOI mining. There is no other explanation. This leads the common sense person to the conclusion that she is in fact, lying and her motives were less than honest. That whole story about carrying 2 phones etc is laughable. Everyone who is smart enough to power on a smart phone knows you can have multiple email addresses. No one is buying. What I can't believe is that it took her people this long to come up with a story that doesn't even add up, not even to the most simple minds.

Confiscating the server would probably be fruitless at this point. Any evidence that is accessible to Clinton has been scrubbed at this point. She's playing stupid, pretending she doesn't even know how to use 2 email addresses on one phone. She's paid big money to have that data cleaned and there is very little possibility of recovering it. The only real chance is that the recipient of some of the excluded content will either roll on her, or they will get their own email hacked/stolen.

What we saw on TV was her hail Mary. She knows the risk is out there and is betting everything that no one will turn on her. But, she's a Clinton. They've made more than a few enemies over the years and that data will become some powerful leverage for someone in the near future.

For even added gravitas impact, she should have given the presser on March 4th. She could have called it the “March forth!” speech. As it is, the date was closer to the Ides of March. et tu, Elizabeth?

I heard a radio broadcast this morning with the audio of her giving her denial yesterday overlaid on the Bill Clinton “I did not have sex with that woman” denial. They make for tone and meter.
