New twist in University of Oklahoma race [Frat Mom used n word]

New revelations are fueling the outrage at the University of Oklahoma and beyond. Some members of the school's Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity face disciplinary action. A video surfaced Sunday showing members chanting a racist song containing the "n-word."

....When CBS News spoke with her, she was reacting to the nine-second video of students chanting racial slurs. But on Tuesday morning, it's her own words that have set the internet ablaze.

In the 2013 video posted on Vine, Gilbow is seen "rapping" the lyrics to a song that includes the "n-word."

And this is the most salient point in regards to this tempest in a tea pot. It is a stupid and trivial thing that has the nation focused on petty hurt feelings rather than actual and serious matters.

Not to be unkind, but I too am getting "racism fatigue." It is just not one of the things that ought to be occupying our concern right now, and the Gestapo like reaction to it has me more concerned than the original offense.

I have to admit, though repeating rap lyrics is the mark of stupidity, this should point to the rapper, and we should be asking questions about him/her/it. The media is pathetic.

The aggravating thing is that their feelings aren't even really hurt-how can I believe that when they call each other that with impunity? It's just a trumped-up weapon to use to continue to beat whites over the head with in lieu of anything real, but blacks targeting whites and other non-blacks in knockout “games”, in which people die, is a non-story. This is also filtering down to the local news outlets....tv stations and radio stations that give local weather and traffic reports. For instance, in Miami, this Oklahoma crap has been on the airwaves the past two or three days.....

What is NEEDED, if someone knew how to fashion it, is a message from viewers to the advertisers....this kind of race based reporting, intended to inflame more anger ought to be used as a catalyst to encourage folks to pressure TV stations to report NEWS and not NONSENSE.

She really announced her stupidity on that. When she said something to the effect of “how would you feel if it were you and they were singing about you swinging from a tree?” I just wanted to scream! Newsflash, Megyn! What do you think the Muslims are doing every live-long day? They are announcing our destruction to us - and they are serious. Unlike drunken Frat boys singing a stupid drinking song on a bus! The disconnect to reality is absolutely stunning!

but Kelly just had to treat this like a national news story too prove to the rest of the media how socially sensitive she is to verbal slurs no matter how nationally insignificant , she's obviously a social liberal.
