New Israel Fund Paid Millions To Undermine Israel Via State Department

According to Edwin Black on The Daily Caller today, the New Israel Fund received more than $1 Million dollars in funding from the State Department. As Black noted, “Vocal critics in both the U.S. and Israel charge that the New Israel Fund has knowingly financed groups that support the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and worked to get Israeli soldiers prosecuted for so-called ‘war crimes.”

Benny Yanay of an Israeli military organization called Consensus, representing some 3,000 members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), stated, “The New Israel Fund acts against Israel — against the soldiers of our country. It is supported by foreign governments and organizations so that Israeli soldiers will be weakened.” Other Israel military men and women have alleged that the NIF is trying to “destabilize the IDF.”

Consistent with the State Department to work with the Anti-Israel New Israel Fund.

The New Israel Fund has many connectors to the State Department. As this State Department link notes here, the JCRC –NY has a long standing relationship with the State Department. So, too does Bob Kaplan of the organization (who reports directly to JCRC boss Michael Miller) tout close relations, via Linkedin, where he claims “He has been called upon by”..”the United States Department of State to consult on inter-ethnic community building and conflict resolution.” Does that include the NIF? As of press time, we have no answer.

Anyone paying even partial attention realized a decade or so ago the New Israel Fund was bad, bad news and that the then new One Israel Fund is very, very good.

If so many everyday people could see for themselves without anyone having to inform them that the New Israel Fund was supporting Israel’s worst sworn enemies, why couldn’t the big shots of Federation and their paid staffs not? Is it because the “progressives” hired them and pay their salaries or were they all just plain dangerously naive and stupid? Were they conditioned to salivate at the cynically created brochures and promos that used the phrase “social justice”?

The terribly naive liberal rabbis with blinders on have been a big part of this problem. The rabbinical school faculty have been turning out enemies of their own people. It has just gotten worse and worse. They convinced themselves that giving away the store and the safety of one’s people would make Islamists love them and the flowers would bloom and everyone would get along just fine. They regularly used propaganda phrases, such as “Social Justice,” through what they were actually doing was preventing social justice.

The rabbis of the more traditional congregations don’t generally speak up, so that well-meaning, but foolish people follow the high profile Pied Pipers.

J-Street, which evidence shows to be a front group started by Israel’s enemies and launched just as Obama was launched, also has taken in the same smug and naively dangerous crowd as the New Israel Fund.

It's already a “given” that the Paleostinians, Arabs and Muslims in general will always abuse their own people in order to get the Western sympathy note but why are they always left off the hook? Why should HAMAS/PLO/DAESH/HIZBOLLAH/Al NUSRA Front and so many other murderous organizations be exempt from war crimes? Why is the Middle East's ONLY fully Democratic, Liberal, Free and open society - Israel the UN and world's whipping boy? Amswer: Jews
