It is beyond unacceptable that New York State prohibits the spouses of military personnel from obtaining the proper licensing when they are stationed here, said Wozniak. New York is one of only three states left in our country that has not addressed out-of-state-licensing for spouses who need to quickly obtain their license so they can get to work after a new move. New York requires licensing for 126 professions these military families should be able to easily navigate the system so they can earn an income to help provide for their families.
Sen. Ritchies legislation passed the Senate last year and is sponsored in the Assembly by Assemblyman Ortiz. The bill allows military spouses to expedite the licensing process in New York and circumnavigate the wasteful and time-consuming courses and paperwork so common in New Yorks overwhelming bureaucratic system.
Some of these military families cannot afford to reside in New York with one spouse unable to work, said Wozniak. There are stories of families considering splitting up so the spouse can remain where their licensing has been processed for their profession. As a business owner, I know how over-regulated this state is and how extensive the bureaucratic swamp can be in Albany. These spouses deserve easy access to licensing so they can continue to support their families and ultimately contribute to our economy here in New York State. These families make the ultimate sacrifice the very least we can do is help them get to work.

Fortunately, it looks like young Angela is on the case.
New York Nanny State.
Doesn’t NY issue state drivers licenses to illegals?

126 Professions?
How does this compare with other states?
Not sure if it makes a difference if the NY State "Managers" are just plain flipping off families of serving military.
The lay of the land needs to be explained to these effwads with a nail-studded baseball bat.
Not guilty.
Uh, what were we talking about?
