And I said you can’t take your Party back, that has been the lure to keep conservatives in the GOP camp since 1995, how’s that working out for us? Answer it’s not, yet people like you still hold on to the dream and hope and the GOP uses that. They keep crapping on you and you keep right on voting for them in the vain hopes they will be nice to you and listen. You are the proverbial Republican version of the black vote the Democrats count on no matter what they do or say or don’t do, they know your vote is in their pocket so why change.
The Republican party is beyond redemption, did you not witness the changes in rules instituted in 2012 at the convention to try and prevent anyone other than the powers that be from ever being in charge? You still hold out hope it can be changed and I don’t. They have your vote regardless of whatever action they take or don’t take and they have to earn mine now through deeds and not words.
And in reality we are witnessing another party in a way. Look at the House, you have the liberal Republicans with Boner and his ilk, you have the Democrats and now you have a conservative voting block of 30-50. Boner has to cut a deal with one of the two other groups to get anything done. Who is he cutting deals with? It ain’t the conservatives, and every time he runs to the democrats for votes the number of conservative votes trickles up and away from his voting block.
And you are the one that keeps screaming third party, third party. Honestly do you really see the Republican party an opposition party at this point? If you consider the Republicans an opposition party at this point I wonder if you are conservative.
