Yeah and you sitting on your butt because you didn’t like the 2008 and 2012 nominees gave us that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, and for that I will never forgive you and all those others who did like you

Yeah, but saying that our country is at stake is a real motivator to take heed and act.

So you are going to sit on your behind if he is the nominee?

Thanks a lot for making sure that arrogant pos got elected and reelected in 2008 and 2012. I will not forgive you for that.

I'm originally from California. We used to have a governor there named Arnold - a Republican who had run on a conservative platform. He had a habit of caving at key times on key issues. I could never understand why until he left office and it was revealed that he had fathered a child with his housekeeper years before. It looks like any time a key piece of the conservative agenda came up for consideration someone pointed out to Arnold that there were some things he might not want to be made public and the proposal just sort of went away.

Geez, how many politicians don't have skeletons in their closet? We're talking people who grew up in the 60s/70s. But, you know, it's not just that...IMO, I think the liberals have gotten so good at pointing fingers and shaming conservatives that the GOP doesn't want people blaming them if something isn't passed. I think we conservatives need to stand firm with conservative GOP. Let them know they need to stand with us instead of worrying about winning over illegal immigrants.

I thought it was, but by some of the replies in here, they still haven't learned a thing and are willing to make the same mistakes they did in 2006 that gave us Piglosi as the Majority Leader in the House and dingy Harry Reid in the Senate. Plus that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsilvania Ave,

For this, I will never forgive them

So, is this your idea of “soldiering on”? Verbally bludgeoning conservatives because they won’t violate their conscience by voting for people who don’t represent them?

Who exactly is “whining” here anyhow?

I mean, seriously. You’re already whining because conservatives won’t vote for Jeb Bush. Sheesh. Can’t you at least wait until the process has been highjacked by the liberal GOP establishment again?

I am just curious as to where you are coming up with this crap that Col Schlichter supports Gays in the military. I did a search and got zero results.

So stop lying.

"Thanks a lot for making sure that arrogant pos got elected and reelected in 2008 and 2012. I will not forgive you for that."

Who said I didn't vote GOP in '08 and '12? Yet, there is not a bit of difference between Jeb Bush and an Dem so what difference would it make? In any event, I couldn't care less who you do or don't forgive for anything.

First of all the primaries are not starting until January 18, 2016 with Iowa being the 1st state and NH being the 2nd state on January 26.

My state's primary is on March 1 and I have no plan to vote for Jeb Bush but I will in the general election ifhe gets the nomination. Which we don't know he will get.

So stop speculating along with the pundits in the media.

Stop jumping to the conclusion that Jeb Bush is going to be the nominee. Just because the pundits are saying that he will be does not mean he will be.

So why are you already insulting conservatives for not violating their conscience? Your posts look like someone preparing the battlefield for Bush.

“I’d say the GOP is more liberal than at any time since Reagan was elected.”

To the point of being complicit with the democrats, I only work for, contribute to and vote for Conservatives anymore, recognizing NO democrat can be a Conservative also No Conservative can be for open borders and amnesty. jeb is among the disqualified.

Well your buddy Juan endorsed him in 08 and sat out the last two weeks so he could throw the election to Obama. He also had his aides throw Palin under the bus because he was jealous of her popularity.

He's correct.

Conservatives should be filling their empty precinct chair positions. They should be working from their local and county GOP organizations to oust the liberals from the Republican Party; then at the state level; then at the national level.

Conservatives should be campaigning for conservatives for every elected position -- local, county, state, or national; or running for the positions themselves.

People who leave the party have no right to complain -- they are the cause of the problem.

People who ignore the political process until the general elections have no right to complain about their choices -- they are the cause of the problem.

“Unfortunately many conservatives are of the mind set to ignore your wisdom and continue on a course of division that will elect Hillary

I believe the bigger problem is liberal and moderate republicans who run under a Conservative banner yet apparently only use the term “Conservative” as an obligatory campaign slogan that appears on all their literature and ads is used in all their speeches. Do you know of any republican that doesn’t run under that banner and use that as a measure of what we should expect of them? They’ll say they’re fiscally Conservative but how many of them vote against the increasing the debt? Supporting amnesty and or open borders could never be considered Conservative.
