Some FReepers are claiming Gowdy is deliberately going slow on the investigation and is possibly being blackmailed.

The yammering against him is not justified. Gowdy, from the get-go, has laid out by every means possible, that he would not be calling anyone to appear before the Committee for some time, until after he had in his hands and in front of the Committee the hard evidence to take these witnesses on.

This is like Basic Prosecution 101, where the attorney asks NO question to which he doesn't ALREADY know the answer. Gowdy has emphasized, over and over, that gathering hard evidence comes first and would take time, given the deadbolt resistance from the administration, Hillary Clinton, et.al. Has no one been listening????

It was GOWDY pursuing the emails at the State Department that set all this in motion, in the first place. It is GOWDY who has intimated for quite some time that he has plenty of information that will be coming out, once corroborative evidence is gathered.

It is GOWDY'S clock that is timing these revelations and whether the government buries Hillary forever, or exonerates her, Gowdy will have the truth on the record and that is ALL he is charged to do.

Gowdy is NOT the Justice Department. He can enforce nothing, arrest no one.

The slandering of Gowdy by the whiners who think the wheels of justice should be a fast food line are unreasonable and so without credibility in the real world. I have profound respect for Gowdy and I trust his integrity when it comes to the process, the law and the procedures. The political hysteria going on around here is why conservatives are stereotyped as "unhinged". Thankfully, Gowdy is blowing right past the cheap seats and the noise and just putting together a deliberate and highly factual charge in a heck of a case. That's all he is suppose to do.
