I don’t know how she can be sure that hackers don’t already have the records she has most likely deleted.
From what I’ve picked up team Hillary is starting to make the defense the system was so lacking in security not only could someone hack into the system and get info out but also hack into the system and put info in.
In short you can’t trust what is in the emails because they could be fake.
