So does Buddhism sanction homosexual marriage, or polygamy now? This article indicates that Thailand doesn’t allow it but this marriage was sanctioned by a Buddhist church.
At least those Buddhists had the guts to actually do it even though the state doesn’t agree with them yet. Most of the Christian faith groups that have accepted ‘gay marriage’ wouldn’t marry their gays until the state they happened to be in patted them on the head and told them it was OK.
