However, note that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to establish vote-winning national holidays, the modern Thanksgiving Day holiday unsurprisingly signed into law by Constitution-ignoring socialist FDR.
In fact, consider that when it was President Thomas Jefferson’s turn to cave into religious political correctness by proclaiming a national day of fasting and prayer as his predecessors had done that he properly passed the buck to the states since it was a religious issue.

So although the traditional national Thanksgiving Day can only be changed by Congress if RINOs don’t cave into lawless Obama again, why don’t we keep the arguably constitutionally indefensible national Thanksgiving Day for the time being. But let's also work with state lawmakers to make 10th Amendment-protected state laws recognizing this holiday.
