I also wrote to them that I was deeply offended by their cover, wanting to enjoy recipes and not be harangued by a food fascist.

I'd love to know what kind of response this issue gets. I'll bet they received quite a few letters like yours. But they'll probably only print the glowing, butt-kissing ones.
