I apologize for the lack of formatting. I am a posting rookie.
Anyway, this is a letter that is going out in paper to my Republican reps as well as well as every Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee.
I know it’s a waste of time, but it’s all I can do at the moment.

You did not lose this fight in the election booths of the nation, you lost it in the classrooms, the press rooms, the television studios, the Hollywood soundstages, and the bureaucratic catacombs of America.
You cannot win it back in the election booths.

Your frustration is felt by nearly everyone on the Freerepublic my friend.
My big questions are the same as yours. It’s obvious Boehner and McConnell have to go. They just have to. If they are gonna fight like 2nd grade girls we simply have no use for them.
We need fighters with a spine who won’t cry and who can take a hit and even get a little bloody now and again. Nothing less will do during this pivotal point.
We are just about to the point of all or nothing.

I can't disagree with anything you said, since I feel the same way. I see the majesty of this country disintegrating right before my eyes, and am very frustrated that I am powerless to stop it. Right after the Republicans surrendered, I called and requested the registrar of voters to send me a form to change my party's registration. After being a Republican for all my voting years, I am now embarrassed to be part of a Party that is feckless and spineless. Just because our dictator is Black, they-—for fear of being called a racist, are permitting him to trample the Constitution. By doing so, they have forsaken their oath of office, and are just as guilty as their dear leader.

I believe you speak for many people in this great country with your words. I say this is a great country but I must hastily add that our government is completely corrupt and totally out of control. Out of control of “We the People”, that is. I share your utter frustration with the situation in which we now find ourselves.

My sentiments exactly, and I’m down here south of Houston, Texas as well.
