In exchange for their votes year after year, all the base gets in return is empty talk and meaningless bluster. And yes, outright lies.
The GOP has managed to bamboozle the base into voting for them. The base needs to recall the old adage: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Maybe someday, people will understand that voting for the lesser of 2 evils, eventually gets you nothing but evil.
