I find the overwhelming proclamations of irrelevancy on this thread fascinating. So many FReepers really need this to mean nothing. What all y’all are leaving out is that this info was known and released in a quiet way for two years now, but never portrayed as brazenly and negatively as it just has been. And, it is clearly criminal-level material. So someone wanted to hit her hard over something she really didn’t need to “get out” because it was already out.

And as for it hiding behind Bibi, timewise that’s like an elephant trying to hide behind a telephone pole. Bibi comes and goes, this thing is going to stay around and grow, because it cannot be explained away as remotely reasonable. She was a cabinet member head of one of the most sensitive agencies who used an open, private email system instead of the encrypted government system designed for her massive and indisputable high-secrecy requirements. It’s utterly indefensible on secrecy grounds alone, and points directly to her evading both government oversight and protection of intelligence secrets of the highest order - AND she’s been shown to have used her office to collect money from foreign states for her private, personal organisation. So connect the two dots and look at the reason she broke the federal email law and basically EVERY intelligence secrecy law.

This has legs - it is NOT going to help her run for President!

Every year we have to sign off on our understanding of data security.
That includes our understanding of preserving email communications.
Any breach of that understanding can result in immediate dismissal.

I can not access my yahoomail or gmail accounts from my company computer.
Not only am I “not supposed to”, but, access is blocked by our software security.
Any email that arrives from outside of our system has a warning header inserted
that says “...Warning-this email did not originate from within...”
and any links inside that email are deactivated.

All true and accurate, except she never has really worked there, nor intended to work there when named.

Her title was just for show, to stroke her ego and satisfy her craving for her number one priority, attention. And a candy-cane for those that voted for her.
