Ted Cruz spills secret of GOP amnesty sabotage
WND ^ | 03/01/2015 | Garth Kant

NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, strongly suggested the fix was in from the beginning by GOP leaders to sabotage the fight against Obama’s amnesty, saying, “The cake was baked from the start.”

The senator said that was evident to him immediately when GOP leaders chose a bill funding the Department of Homeland Security, or DHS, as the vehicle to try to stop the amnesty President Obama granted to five-million illegal immigrants by executive order in November.

Cruz made the observations while speaking to a small group of reporters across the street from the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, on Thursday.

WND kicked off the conversation by asking: Why won’t GOP leaders fight amnesty?

If the GOP leadership had really wanted to stop amnesty, Cruz explained, they would not have attached the provision defunding Obama’s amnesty to the DHS funding bill.

They would have attached it to a bill defunding the Environmental Protection Agency, “or some other non-essential agency.”

He described such agencies as “hostages the GOP could afford to hold.”

What do YOU think? Where do GOP leaders really stand on amnesty for illegals? Sound off in the WND Poll.

Cruz insisted GOP leaders knew all along that rank-and-file Republicans would never vote to defund the DHS during a time of increasing terror threats at home and abroad.

Instead, he said, they chose a strategy that was clearly designed to fail.

Cruz said he is optimistic in the long run but pessimistic in the short term about stemming the flow of illegal immigrants.

He is pessimistic because “GOP leadership joined with (Senate Minority Leader) Harry Reid, D-Nev., to pass amnesty.” Cruz was referring to the move this week by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., to offer a “clean” bill funding the DHS, which meant dropping the provision in the bill that would have

“Best to look at things from the world plan then you uderstand what’s happening here and why.”

Zackly. None of them want to just come out and say it, but it’s clear through their actions that they see it as inevitable. I’m not sure WHY they have thrown in the towel though. Oh yeah, silly me, they’re part of a super special secret club, and they have to do as they are told, and that’s obviously not by the citizen voters. I see no evidence they believe they work for us anymore, other than treating us as WELL TAKEN CARE OF slaves. As an earlier poster wrote “embrace Marxism or be miserable”.

For a few years I have been yelling Voter Fraud in my circles here.
First you have to plant the idea - some will hear it, and some will pass it along. But not nearly enough.

I recently heard a few men speak about their experience as precint watchers or some such. They told us we wouldn’t believe what happens ‘out there.’
And that’s one tiny portion in one county, in one state in the union.

The people in Eastern Ky and Western Ky coalfields know what is going on and has been going on for over 40 years. We don’t have the population to vote out these Democrats and Rhinos because the left wingers control Central Ky. They are nutcases.

Well maybe fraud has diluted the voting strength of sensible people. But the Republican primary voters still nominated poor candidates for the most part and will so again I believe in 2016.

Yes, leave him alone. He has nothing of substance, just some accusations, with no merit.

True... 2016 will probably be much like 2012...

Some democrat appeaser or outright collaborator like Myth Romney or Bush Jr.. or Marco Rineo...
It’s amazingly hard to piss off a republican..

Most republicans seem to be like Autistic children....

They didn’t EVEN get outraged when Myth Romney was voter frauded into the republican primary in 2012..

Literally EVERYONE KNEW he was, a poseur, a shill for democrats.. a collaborator.. an ENEMY in the Republican Camp..
AND that he had no chance.. to win against “THE ONE”..
As Bill Whittles says; He didnt believe what he was vomiting out about “the Republic”..

cause he is NO REPUBLICAN.. merely a rich democrat for “A DEMOCRACY”.. like George Bush Jr.. with an “R” by his name..

Voter Fraud has been perfected by the democrats.. (in most places)..
enough to sway almost any election.. even in most States and localities..

I love Cruz, but this was evident from the get-go. Not surprising at all.
