Poll: Nearly Half of Americans Take Issue With Netanyahu Speech BY MARK MURRAY Nearly half of American voters — 48 percent — say that congressional Republicans should not have invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress on Tuesday without first notifying President Barack Obama, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.
By contrast, 30 percent of those polled believe the invitation was fine, and another 22 percent don't know enough to say either way.
Not surprisingly, the issue breaks along partisan lines, with 66 percent of Democrats saying Republicans shouldn't have invited Netanyahu without first notifying the president, compared with just 28 percent of Republicans who say that.

Polls like this are pretty meaningless. They are partisan fodder. We get a much better picture of how much people really know by looking at the postive/negative rating for Netanyahu .
“Netanyahu has a 30 percent positive/17 percent negative rating in the poll — up from 24 percent positive/15 percent negative a year ago.” This suggests that only 47 percent really feel strongly one way or another which means many are making a general value judgement based on Obama being notified or not and he was actually notified before Boehner announced it.

As far as this poll, if the regime had not screamed
and squacked about it , no one would have cared, with
the exception of the few who have been paying attention.
I can imagine two scenarios, Obama announces an agreement
on Monday, or the PM announces half way through his
speech that the bombing has started. Either would be
considered a preemptive strike.
History has taught Israel that in a country the
size of theirs, they cannot wait to be struck. As far
as turning the other cheek, what does the world think
they’ve been doing since 1948?
I trust the PM to do what is needed for the survival

It’s probably based on the usual polling of registered voters from the 212 and 213 area codes in the middle of the day. I kid you not, folks. Some of these pollsters consider that a scientific sample.
I think there was a reason why Obama and the Administration did it this time and they didn’t do it the time before (in a prior speech by Netanyahu as a Joint Session of Congress).
It’s because the opposition to Netanyahu in Israel, who hope to defeat him in the upcoming elections in Israel are using as a MAJOR TALKING POINT that Netanyahu is destroying the relationis with the USA.
SO ... in order to give the Israeli opposition “PROOF” of that, so they can DEFEAT Netanyahu ... the Obama Administration decided to “show everyone” how Netanyahu was destroying relations with the USA!
You see ... it’s all about the elections in Israel and giving the opposition in Israel the necessary ammunition to DEFEAT Netanyahu!

The Ministry Of Propaganda has considerable sway over the people of this country. Many of them don’t know they are being lied to daily.
It seems that many people in this country have been slowly trained that nothing would happen without the President’s nod of approval. This is setting them up to allow a dictatorship in the future.Most will just naturally accept it as just another day...
