I suspect he wouldn’t either. Read it for a college English course 40 years ago. Malcolm did indeed go from petty criminal to something else. At the end, he actually had something of a clue about race in America as opposed to other parts of the world including in Africa and about real muslims. He was killed by his own because he moved away from their muslim movement, black power movement.
