I’m presuming that the turtle is dug in. Cruz is eligible for Speaker. Boehner demonstrates lack of leadership and is a weakling currently in a weak position. The House needs better leadership.
I know you don’t have to be in the house to be speaker but I don’t know if you can be in the senate and be speaker.
The house and senate are kept separate for a reason.
