Don’t bother trying to use logic with SoCalPubbie.
He is an abashed LIAR and refuses to see the truth. He is incapable of comprehending Walker’s words and accepts the twisting of those words by liberal journalists who desperately hope we do not nominate someone like Walker.
SoConPubbie has been an FR friend for years. I agree that he is solidly behind Cruz, as am I, and I agree that he is single-minded in his pursuit of that end. I don’t see anything dishonest in his repeated citing of those lines that seem to make it appear that Walker was referring to illegals.
After the way conservatives have been treated on this subject, we should be wary of anyone and everyone. Even now we’re being sold down the river again by McConnel and the Senate on the defunding of amnesty payments only, although they have specifically defunded other things time and time again throughout history.
So, I’d be suspicious, too.
But I still don’t want a good conservative to be injured, and in this article Walker clearly stands against amnesty. In that other article, I can see someone arguing there was a lack of clarity. There is nothing ambiguous in this article, though.
