By then it will be buried so far under another huge mountain of Obama scandals, lies and criminal activity it will disappear forever.
Boehner appointed ‘fireball’ Trey Gowdy back in May of 2014 to investigate. That was ten months ago. Another alphabet agency, the FBI, is supposed to be investigating as well.
Gowdy has gotten around to following up on some subpoenas-—and is just recently recommending a special prosecutor. Anyone who thought he was a ‘special prosecutor’ well, you were apparently mistaken.
As you say, this will drag on until Obama leaves office but until then the GOP will throw out scraps of red meat to “extremists” (like us), Koskinen and Lerner will segue into fat pensions and gold plated retirement benefits (did you see the thread on the generous inventive/reward payments she got for the three years up-to getting caught?), and basically not a damned thing will be done to actually punish either one of them for political corruption, perjury, obstruction of justice, etc., other than finding them in contempt of Congress.
Heavens to Murgatroyd. Contempt. Good only for that term and with no actual repercussions, as we saw with Eric Holder. It’s just theater, BS from the GOP establishment.
And plenty more scandals to go in the next year or so! As Obama ‘goes for broke’ understanding that—like “undocumented immigrants—he and his helpers can pretty much get away with anything they have done or will do because, what do you get when you reward, or fail to punish, bad behavior?
That’s right: you get a guy doing things that he earlier admitted he had no business trying to do.
But hey, if no one objects; I mean, objects and means it.
I think this will probably drag one about one and a half more years.
Then one of Obama’s last actions, will be a pardon.
