Thomas County Narcotics Commander Arrested (Georgia)

THOMASVILLE, Ga. -- The Thomasville narcotics division director found himself on the other side of the law following a DUI arrest Sunday night.

Commander Kevin Lee is a 20 year law enforcement veteran. He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to maintain lanes.

The Thomas County Sheriffs Office says Lee has been placed on suspension without pay while they determine what action will be taken.

Wow! The way this used to be handled is somebody would drive the cop home and no mention would be made of the incident. Either the culture has changed (?) or he’s really annoyed somebody.

Or, he was locked up in another county. Some county jurisdictions aren’t fond of other jurisdictions. Just a thought.
