Reports are beginning to pop that Ted Cruz is on the brink of hiring the men who will run his campaign in Iowa, a state the Texas senator believes he very much has the chance to win come January 2016.
A well-sourced Republican operative in the state tells me Cruz is hiring 2002 Senate candidate Bill Salier, who run Tom Tancredos 2008 presidential campaign, and Bryan England, who has served as aide to both Iowa congressman Steve King and Bob Vander Plaats, the three-time Republican gubernatorial candidate and political activist. A spokesman for Cruz did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Craig Robinson, a former political director of the Iowa Republican party who chronicles political developments in the state on his blog The Iowa Republican, said Wednesday afternoon that word on the street was that Cruz was in the process of hiring both Salier and England. He tweeted the following:

I listen to Laura Ingraham in the a.m. (also a Fox contributor...), she’s all that is available in my small town. She only mentions Ted Cruz pretty much as an after thought... But, hey, I guess that’s OK, ‘cause she knows everything don’t cha know!

I also escaped mexifornia. I know all to well the anti-American evil that is pushing relentlessly north from our unsecured borders. There will only be pain, misery, and utter subjugation of every single American citizen that tries to wave Ol’ Glory on Independence Day.
I do not consider Walker a conservative. Even though I voted for him numerous times, I waited for him to act like a conservative. He did not. He finally proved to me that he is a politician who will say anything, do anything, for a chance to climb the gold-plated ladder to an autocratic presidency.
So no, I will not be silent about what I witnessed from Walker while I lived in Wisconsin.
“Just remember that you have to win elections to govern. Otherwise you might as well go live the woods. Which admittedly doesnt sound like such a bad idea whomever gets elected.”
Yeah, that’s why I voted for the lesser of two evils the last 4 elections. More like 6 elections. Just so the democrat wouldn’t win. The traitors in the GOP aren’t much better.
Hey, what’s wrong with the woods? We escaped mexifornia and settled in the hills to create a self-sufficient lifestyle and be around like-minded conservatives. The woods are beautiful ;)
Well put.
I consider it my duty to inform everyone I meet here just how bad the border states have gotten. In fact, when considering where to escape to, I ruled out all states bordering a border state. And anywhere near a big city. The invasion is happening so quickly. What amazes me is how the sheeple are just accepting it. Whites are discriminated against right and left, are forced to pay for the illegals, then have to suffer the crimes, bad schools, Spanish required everywhere - and don’t say a word. Of course, the left threatens to call them racist if they complain. But if name calling will intimidate this nation, there’s not much hope.
Anyway, my job is to inform the people here how great they have it and just how bad it could be if they allow criminal invaders to start taking over. In was glad to hear a news report referring to one as an illegal immigrant. Of course, immigrant was the PC word, but at least they didn’t say undocumented immigrant.

Awesome! Thank you, SoConPubbie!
You are right on with bringing the truth about the illegal invasion happening right now in America. I also witnessed firsthand what happens to the ‘melting pot’ of America when illegals refuse to assimilate. First, small businesses that choose cheap labor over American citizens help drive the local economy into the ground. Second, illegal invaders use the American welfare system as their piggy bank, thus depriving social and financial resources to poor and disabled American citizens. Third, many 2nd generation illegal invaders born here in America join gangs based on the street that they live on. Fourth, RINOS and liberal politicians use these illegal invaders as a pincer movement to surround American citizens in America’s heartland and demand their surrender to Big Biz and Big Government.
DISCLAIMER: Thank God that many of my American citizen friends who lay claim to hispanic culture choose to abide by the rules and laws of the land, just like my ancestors did when they lawfully came to America. In fact, all are hard-working, Christian men and women who choose to honor God, Family, and America.
I live in the woods also. Was just stating the same as you. Hard to keep my composure anymore with the RINO stampede lately.
I hear ya. It’s starting to be the same chant, he is good on the other issues, we have to vote for any republican so the dems don’t get in, vote for him now and we’ll change them once he’s in office, yada yada. Second verse, same as the first.
This time, I am done. I’m sitting in my woods, waiting for CWIII, because I sadly think that’s the only hope for this country.
BTW, my woods are white today. I was told it rarely snows or gets below freezing here. My first two weeks here, that’s all it’s done! Heater only went out once so far, but the woodstove works great ;)
Alright SoCon, I figured I’d let you know this. I was just watching Ted Cruz on Hannity, and as always, he’s excellent.
I am just going to let this thing with this vote go on the assumption that I do not understand what he did here, but I am going to trust that he had good reason, and I’m not going to hold it against him.
I will be watching future actions on this though, because this amnesty move is essentially a checkmate move.
But I still do think that Ted is the genuine article.
