Whew.....that was a close call for the DNC...which decided to pick Philly for its convention...... w/ sitting target Obama as keynote speaker.
NYC Mayor De Blobbio had launched a full press court to get the DNC to hold its convention.....wait for it...in Brooklyn.
At the time, the DNC musta been cringing at the prospect of Blobbio and his lesbian wife whining about their pathetic political ambitions within earshot of DNC bigwigs. ....or the distinct possibility that Blobbio pal, Al Sharpton, would be crowned the convention's Clown Prince.

Even after the DNC snubbed Brooklyn---Mayor Blobbio showed his progressive "Heart of Gold" was still beating (sob).
GET OUT YOUR CRYING TOWEL The mayor issued a statement: "we fought so hard to bring the 2016 Democratic National Convention to Brooklyn" which he described as "America’s greatest urban success story......a great backdrop to nominate the next President of the United States."
Blobbio went on to say: "New York City represents the future of America. We’re a city that’s working to lift up and unite every resident and ensure that all 8.4 million New Yorkers have the opportunity to succeed — not just the fortunate few. That core principle is what makes our City and our nation so great....."
Forget to mention terrorists holed up in Brooklyn.
In all candor, I’m surprised the NYPD hasn’t finished Mayor Blobbio off, but the year is young : )
