And what’s your reward if you’re successful, besides saving yourself from an assault? The knowledge that you’ve taken a life, with all the moral, spiritual and legal consequences that such an awful act implies. Far better to let them kill you, right, Steve?
Let me check if I would experience any moral, spiritual or legal consequence in the event I used my weapon in legal self defense.

Ah, yes, who could forget the recent exchange of pleasantries in Las Vegas between Tammy Myers and 19-year-old Erich Nowsch that ended with Myers dead and Nowsch facing a long prison term, at best? Ah, yes, the 19-year-old Nowsch was carrying illegally since you must be 21 in Nevada to qualify for a concealed firearms permit.
So a lawbreaker broke the law. What does that have to do with an armed society, Mr. Sebelius?

Today, the Nevada Assembly Committee on Judiciary is hearing A.B. 139 which Revises provisions governing the issuance of permits to carry concealed firearms. In other words, recognizing CCW cards from all other states.
