A House rule: Most dogs are better, more loyal and certainly less devious than most humans....by far.
Poor clueless doggie.
My poor clueless kitty is going to the vets this morning. I do not know at this point if she will come home alive or dead.
I just had to put my 15 yr old buddy down last December, a very hard thing to do.
I miss that little guy.
That’s a neat story. Thanks for posting.
I am looking at my pack Beta (in her mind) at the moment and have to smile. I have a 5 year old lab that is the sweetest, most loyal dog I have known MOST OF THE TIME. When Alpha (me) is not around, and other members of her pack are out and about, she tends to have less patience with other animals and adults. She is also the best burglar alarm there is. I hate having to sneak in the house late (from work), trying not to wake anyone. It’s hopeless! I was once able to touch get my keys out at the front door before she “went off”.
I don’t look forward to the day we will have to say goodbye.
He looks healthy. I wonder why he has to be euthanized.
My Lab died on her bed in our house 11/2/2013. Amber was 13. She was the sweetest dog I ever had. It was hard. The fact is that if things work the way they should you will outlive your dog. I knew this when we got her. I have had 4 dogs in my life. The sorrow of losing a dog is part of having that dog as a loyal friend for the years they live.
I am reading the keywords attached to this thread and scratching my head...
