Plus Tom Clancy wrote a book about 10/15 years back where Muslim terrorists attacked a mall somewhere in middle America. FYI, in the book they were smuggled into the country over the TX/Mexico border by the Mexican drug cartels.
Keep in mind in Clancy also wrote a book where a Japanese man flew a 747 into the Capital building in Washington, DC during a joint session of Congress and killed virtually everybody at the top of the federal government except the new VP(Jack Ryan).
So, these terrorists didn’t just think up this plot all by themselves. All you have to do is read Clancy’s(and other authors) books and there are all sorts of terrorism ideas.
I have always maintained that if one of the hijacked planes had crashed into the capitol building and killed a couple of dozen senators and congressmen we would have passed legislation already completely overhauling or immigration policies.
I remember the 747 attack - it was in “Debt of Honor.”
