From his time briefing generals in the Pentagon, Stephen Coughlin — a leading expert on national security and author of the soon-to-be-published book, “Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding America in the Face of Jihad” — has always feared for our nation’s safety and thinks it’s time for the government to stop lying.
Coughlin is an attorney, decorated intelligence officer and expert on Islamic law and terrorism. He says the “entire world, friend and foe alike, understands, that starting with the Bush administration and accelerating in the Obama administration, that our foreign policy community is absolutely incoherent and completely vulnerable. These people have lost the ability to think.”

Success these days, as measured by wealth, fame and prestige, is more the result of sublimation to and association with the mafia organization known as the US government. Merit and hard work mean nothing now except to make you a target for government thug “protection” money collections.

There are many high-functioning leftists. They are quite capable of thinking. Like all leftists. they start with the wrong assumptions about how the world works, guaranteeing that they will arrive at the wrong conclusions. However, high-functioning leftists can complete this process faster than their low-functioning counterparts.

How about we put a moratorium on Ivy Leaguers in the State Department for say 10 years.
