Once you accept that Communism drives his domestic policy, and Islam his foreign policy, you “get” it.
I, on the other hand, have been telling them since he was first elected, that it is not Obama who doesn't "get it" but that they don't "get" who he fundamentally is. He was raised by American-hating, communist parents, grandparents and mentors. He went to an Islamic school in Indonesia during his impressionable years. He obviously has an affinity towards Islam and doesn't do a very good job convincing us he's a Christian, especially with a Black Liberation Theology "God Damn America", preacher for 20 years and the kinds of drivel he spews out about Christians and the Crusades being equivalent to the savage, barbaric, Islamic, terrorist beheaders at our National Prayer Breakfast.
Just as you say, once one realizes and accepts Obama for what he really is, it is not hard to see why he does what he does. He is not like the rest of us and doesn't approach his job from that perspective. He is foreign to everything we believe in and is doing a bang-up job of foisting that foreign-based ideology in the form of his new American reality, onto this country.
One can only count the days until he leaves office, hoping upon hope that the immense damage he has already done, can start to be reversed with a new, conservative leader. If instead, we get another Obama clone like a Hillary Clinton or an Elizabeth Warren, I believe the death rattle for America will become our new national anthem.
