Intermanager and the European Community Shipowners Association are saying that it is unrealistic for merchant ships to continue to bear the burden of conducting large-scale rescues of migrants in the Mediterranean Sea.

Sink all unidentified unscheduled craft approaching your shores. Of course the terrorists will load the boats up with women and children then hide among them...being civilized seems to have become a death wish.
They sail into the immensity of the Med with the EXPECTATION of rescue.
Their reckless welfare mentality is in high gear literally before setting foot in Europe.
Europe is sending them the wrong message.
Australian ships towed such boats further into the ocean and now have no problem.
Tow them to Syria, they should be very happy there.
