I'd like to give Ms. Fox an award.
I believe people become jaded after a while, watching the fast action high drama offerings from ‘Hollyweird’.
Then they view a movie about ‘small town like’ values, with little of the glitzy production values the entertainment industry uses to hook people into their offerings, and it seems boring or low quality.
Actually, this can mean two things.
1. The Christian movie was truly poorly made.
2. If you can’t watch and take it for what it is, perhaps it says more about you than the movie.
Lets face it, Christians obtain their fulfillment from things that have little to do with Hollywood or today’s world.
If you can’t enjoy what they find entertaining, perhaps a look inward is in order.
These films are rather popular in some circles. If they are so bad, why would that be?
I suspect you would be very disappointed in her acceptance speech.
Yes, a lot of Christian films are poor in their writing and production. I do not know if that is the case here. The Kendrick brothers’ movies are not poor quality or writing.
