And don't forget the upcoming deadline.
Why net neutrality is a terrible idea, Feb 17, 2015.
On February 4, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler proposed that the federal government reclassify the Internet
from an information service to a telecommunications service in the name of keeping it 'fair' --a plan that came straight from Barack Obama's desk.
Of course, this is nothing more than a pass for Big Government to expand its regulatory power at the expense of digital freedom.
Like all innovation, the Internet wasnt created by government
and government certainly has no power to control it.
Nowhere in the Constitution is there a provision providing the federal government with power to regulate the free-flow of information.
In fact, such an idea flies in the face of the First Amendment.
ConstitutionAlly is calling every American to sign our petition and message the FCC, prior to their February 26 vote on Obama's plan.
Take Action: Say NO! to the OBAMA-FCC Internet takeover.
Go to
http://action.politicalmedia.com/17314/constitutionally-say-no-to-fcc-internet-takeover/?ifr=820 and do it NOW !
Go sign the Petition:
Tell the FCC to stay away from the internet
by Glenn Monday, Feb 16, 2015 at 9:36 PM EST
This is critical! Your voice must be heard now in the loudest of voices.
The FCC is doing a power grab of the internet.
There are only a few days left to voice your opposition.
If you want a Department of the Internet and you think that will make independent voices stronger, stay silent.
Otherwise TELL CONGRESS AND THE FCC HANDS OFF THE INTERNET.

I confess, my knowledge of Thomas Jefferson and the Barbary Coast is lacking. Thumbs up to Glenn (and I’m sure David Barton) for this.

A Reporter Asked Christian Iraqi Child How Shed Retaliate Against the Islamic State
and Heres Her Stunning Response
FAITH - God provides for us.
(excerpt)
... Now living with her family in a half-built mall in Northern Iraq, the child recently had a stunning reaction when a reporter asked how she would retaliate against the terrorists, if given a chance.
I wont do anything to them, the child, named Myriam, told SAT-7, an Arabic-language TV network. I will only ask God to forgive them.
When a reporter for the Christian satellite network asked if she, too, could forgive the Islamic State, she responded, Yes.
In addition to Myriams compassion for her enemies, she also explained just how profoundly her life has changed since she and her family were driven from their home in Qaraqosh, Iraq, and are now living in the Ainkawa Mall along with many others, according to the Christian Post.
We used to have a house and were entertained, where as here we are not, the little girl said. But thank God. God provides for us.
When she was asked to elaborate, Myriam said God loves her and the other Christians who escaped and that he wouldnt let ISIS kill them. ...

God Bless that poor child, but I’m sure the Coptic Christians felt the same.

I have the utmost respect (and fear) for Christians in the Middle East. I can’t image what it must be like over there.

I do too.
But when God tells them, in their instincts, to move, and move NOW, they need to DO IT.

Thank you for the ping (and for starting up this thread).
I feel I have learned so much from Glenn (and his assets like David Barton) over the last few years. I’m able to listen a lot more now (unemployed) so I feel like I’m making good use of my time.
I want his food dehydrator...sounds awesome.

You're welcome.
But know that my schedule does NOT allow me to do it all the time. Check into ROKU, or just click on the photo at the upper right on the article.
I had to piece-meal it due to my limited budget, and it took me a few months to complete it, but I finally got my subscription started to THEBLAZE TV, and I love it, especially being able to call up videos on demand.
How ROKU works is easy.
First, I bought a wireless modem, because of my old Standard Definition Television Sets.
You have to consider your internet provider for that, and get an Up-To-Date Wireless Modem or Wireless Router/Modem that will work with that provider.
By the way, if you have a HD Smart TV that can, you might can connect with a
Roku 3, which features an Ethernet port and a USB connection for personal media and a MicroSD card to expand internal storage.
Once I received my Wireless Modem, I followed the instructions and set it up.
Then after I received my ROKU 2 box, I followed the instructions and set it up.
But before I turned it on and powered it up for the first time, I went on the Internet to
TheBlaze TV and set up my account, and I did this because I wanted to find out the overall cheapest way to do it, and be able to also access the account and watch it over my computer.
Then I followed ROKU's instructions and powered up my ROKU 2 in the order in which the instructions said.
The ROKU ask me to set up an account with their web site, and I did with the Unit Number provided by the ROKU 2 receiver, on my TV screen.
After that account was set up, the ROKU updates its program and I went through the menu and IMMEDIATELY went to THEBLAZE TV Channel, and chose the LIVE PROGRAM instead of the videos on demand. and started watching Glenn Beck LIVE.
It's just that simple.
There is so much more you can wrath through ROKU, and I'm just getting started learning what's available.
One Channel I have learned is
YouTube.Com, and the search is a little slow to type in with the ROKU Remote, but it works,
and I love it.

Try TED App, brilliant people there talking about everything under the sun. 99.99% lefty but interesting still.
TED talk can be accessed with your computer as well but the Roku app works great and it is free as well.

I've got ROKU now, and I like watching it on my T.V. as well as being able to access it on the Internet and watch it while listening to it.
Plus, there's a lot more that just his radio program to see.
I'm currently setting up "HBO GO" on my T.V.

I'm currently setting up "HBO GO" on my T.V. All those services work on an iPhone or iPad as well. I am a big Apple product user but the AppleTV box sucks compared to the ROKU. Personally I just use my computer attached to my big screen TV. My vision sucks close up and anything over 8 or 10 feet is hard for me to see because of warped retinas.

I have older RCA Cable hook ups on my TV and one S-Video hookup, so a direct link to my computer would be challenging.
Your eyesight: Have you tried using
Ocuvite Adult 50+ vitamins?
I use them and it DOES make a difference.

a direct link to my computer would be challenging. For sure, and a waste of time as likely would be horrible monitor. Sounds like you could use a TV upgrade, be like getting cataracts removed and you can see again :)
I had a good friend tell me last week they use the Pre-Natal vitamins with the same result. Maybe I should try both, I have used multivitamins for thirty years and haven't had a cold since I started taking them.

When HD first can out, I bought my parents a Sony 32" XBR and they loved it, and so did I.
I was in Philly Northeast Tower and their house burned to the ground along with all their stuff, with no insurance.
A little over $3,000 with less than 8 months of use, and that was in 2004.
No, my Sony has a good picture, and there are other things of a higher importance for my money, right now.
But thanks for the suggestion.
