“I don’t have time to attend protest rallies. I have to make a living.”

Isn’t that EXACTLY the problem??

We WORK, make MONEY, etc., while we are opposed by people who protest and vote for a living.

We are always waiting for “THEM!” to do something, instead of getting out there and doing it ourselves.

Once my so is an adult and living on his own I might be able to do more. Right now I cannot risk going to prison or being shot down by the imperial guard.

;-)

I was at 9/12/09. The weather was perfect. The turnout was in the high six digits.
And the very existence of a gathering was barely mentioned on TV.

You want to rally in Washington in February, when half the country is experiencing sub-10-degree temperatures. The turnout would be in double digits, if that.
And the reporter coverage would be even less - i.e., no mention at all.

Other than that, I’d say you have a great plan!
