auto pistols scare the crap out of me
I would never own anything but a revolver
I was getting rid of a pesky varmint around my house the other day and when I could not find him I went into the house and realized I had the rifle still loaded AND cocked
thank god I handle arms safely as I was trained- I was in the process of clearing it before putting it away and discovered that- (which is the point of safely clearing) it was the first time I ever caught myself locked and loaded and will hopefully be the last considering the shock it threw into me

I looked (very carefully) at many pictures of bra holsters and couldn't find one that holds the gun in a barrel-up position.

Never stop checking your firearms. It is well worth the worry and concern to be safe for all concerned. I have a religious respect and fear of my arms and ammo and yes, the revolver is safer.
So glad your story ended well!
