Very sad outcome for a person who needed to be hospitalized.

Throw away those deadly Tasers used by LE agencies and get them a genuine Chuck Norris approved cattle prod. Cattle prods have been successfully used in Texas for many years and are widely used by Cowboys and Vaqueros for herding cattle, sheep, or goats.

Consider the following: No wires, no worries. Just extreme pain and lightning on the end of a stick. Approved by all environmentalists groups as safe to use anywhere, anytime, rain or shine.

Guaranteed very effective against slow moving Amish crowds and most disturbed individuals. May be considered early response shock therapy for the mentally ill. Satisfied users have reported miracles where the lame have walked after just one application. Non-racist, hurts like h*ll regardless of color.

Apply once, repeat as many times as needed. Most victims survive physically unharmed unless beaten severely over the head. Caution: Some individuals may experience a permanent change in mental attitude. Other side-effects may include headache, nausea, and diarrhea.

So get one today...

/S

We’re the cops actually trained how to use the tasers

You are? Or were you?

I have always been a fan of cattle prods. Back in the ‘60s they were used extensively and successfully for crowd control and for loco control. They got banned most places because, essentially, they were called “cattle” prods and were thus undignified to use on rioters and such. I don’t think anyone died from being thus prodded but tasers are made specifically for use against “humans” so they are acceptable to the compassionate left even though they kill folks now and then. Cattle prods administer a localized sharp pain . The electricity goes only between the two close set terminals and hurts you right there. Tasers kind of scramble your whole system and can stop your heart. They are much more humane because they don’t have the word “cattle” attached to them. I don’t recall ever hearing that someone wasn’t affected by a cattle prod. Tasers can be totally ineffective on some folks.

In 1990 I saw 6 NYPD cops trying to disarm and take in a whack job swinging a heavy jagged piece of steel. By the expressions on their faces they felt sorry for the guy and were taking their time, darting in and out, waiting for an opening. They were twenty-somethings at the time. No doubt all retired now.

Wonderful cop story.

The cop looks to be out of order in this one. They knew the man was a mental case.

...

There are other news stories that show he had enough mental competence to be a career criminal and know how to flash gang signs.

It’s a shame that the police don’t have the skills to subdue a mental patient and are therefore compelled to shoot. The guy wasn’t a street thug,he was sick.

...

Actually, he was a street thug. Look up his record.

Why ask me? I wasn’t there. Why deflect the issue. 2 tasers failed. That is a problem that needs to be addressed. Either the cops screwed up or an armorer did. That is uncalled for.

I agree. Cattle prods seldom incapacitate or harm the animal. Although my comment was meant to be sarcastic, I believe if they want to react like animals, they should expect to be treated like animals. And most animals react to a prod in the right places.

The sarcasm is not necessary. I’s all true. The only thing wrong with cattle prods instead of tasers is that they are called cattle prods and were invented to control crowds of cattle.
