4-year-old girl seriously injured in a 2013 rock-throwing terror attack died on Tuesday afternoon from complications from pneumonia, a Petah Tikva hospital said.
With great sadness we announce the passing of Adele Bitton, who passed away this evening despite doctors efforts to save her. We send our condolences to the family, the Schneiders Childrens Hospital said in a statement.
Medical staff at the hospital said Bittons condition deteriorated after she developed respiratory complications from a lung infection. She was transferred to the hospitals Intensive Care Unit Tuesday where doctors attempted to save her.
Bitton suffered a traumatic brain injury in March 2013 when Palestinians threw rocks at a car driven by her mother, causing her to lose control and crash into a truck on Road 5 near the West Bank settlement of Ariel.
It was not immediately clear if the lung infection was related to the injuries suffered in the attack, which left Bitton largely unresponsive for the last two years.

She was adorable. Prayers for her family.
What a beautiful little girl. Her traumatic brain injury was devastating. Her parents must be bereft. Prayers for their peace and hopefully their comfort.

I remember the picture of her that was posted after that incident.... Poor baby. Our little ones are so precious to us. How can they not be to the murderers in the ME? It doesn’t make sense that children aren’t that precious to them. We do see how they warble and carry on if one of theirs is killed when Israel fights back... Does the noise mean they really care? I don’t think so - they just like to put on shows - noisy ones!
There will only be peace in Israel when Palestinians love children more than they hate Jews. Golda Meir
Dreadful. RIP.
Amen. What a total cutie pie. Freakin’ savages.
