Mixed feelings. I know that the major economies of the world are sitting on houses of cards. Yet, this has been going on for so long, it is a wonder how the "Zombie Apocalypse" has not occurred already. It is beyond me to comprehend all the facts and nuances of why. I just observe that these economies thrive (or is it survive) regardless.
The system runs on faith and promises. As long as people have "faith" and believe the "promises" it's going to keep going, but I suspect both will be seriously strained when the bills for the baby boomers start piling up, and it eventually becomes impossible to hide the fact that the Democrats spent all their retirement funds back in the 1980s.
When the faith goes, it all comes apart. Till then, many keep believing because they *HAVE* to believe. The alternative is simply unacceptable, and therefore rejected.
Actually the collapse will happen mid-September 2015.
