I don’t know anything about AP History. But I am very familiar with AP Physics and AP Chemistry. Those last two programs are focused and challenging, the real deal.

Taxpayer money should not be b used to fund AP classes. I already paid for my kids’ college education; I shouldn’t have to pay for yours, also.

I took AP U.S.History in 1971. It was substantially non political. My understanding is that has changed. Now it it leftist, revisionist, PC History.
Public schools are a scourge on America!

Some opponents of Common Core apparently have now turned their guns on Advanced Placement courses.Aruh? As a former AP student, I think they may be off the rails with this one.

Advanced Placement is a nationally recognized series of courses and tests developed by the College Board, a private entity, with the assistance of high school and college facultyAP US History has become a purely cultural Marxist exercise in deconstruction.
The exam (which you have to get a 4 or 5 on to claim the credit) is like a Chinese Cultural Revolution exercise in self-criticism. If your kid is uncomfortable denouncing his own people and his own country, he should stay away.

AP courses are a rip off because too many students don’t get the proper instruction to pass the test after paying the $$. Better to take dual credit classes so you get actual college credit.
