When hackers steal money from banks, they usually go for Bonnie and Clyde attacks, taking whatever they can take in a single grab, one Kaspersky executive told The New York Times, as the security research discovered a different type of bank cyber heist, one likened to Oceans Eleven in terms of planning, but also when it comes to the significant amount of stolen cash.
Following a well planned operation, that involved months of spying through the use of sophisticated software, unknown hackers originating from Russia, China and Europe managed to steal at least $300 million from a large number of banks which are now aware of the hack but chose not to disclose these losses.

Someone once asked Slick Willie Sutton, the bank robber, why he robbed banks. The question might have uncovered a tale of injustice and lifelong revenge. Maybe a banker foreclosed on the old homestead, maybe a bankers daughter spurned Sutton for another.
Sutton looked a little surprised, as if he had been asked Why does a smoker light a cigarette?
I rob banks because thats where the money is."

One day (perhaps soon) a nuclear war will be initiated by people with this type of expertise.

Isn’t it great that we have such outstanding protective agencies like the NSA and DHS to guard against things like this? /s

Here's the deal for me.........
Seemingly it used to be...we lived in a country that looked to it's people to be good citizens, productive, peaceful, loyal..etc. And in turn our gobment looked to make us better, encourage us to succeed, uplift us, and help us in need, bolster us in disasters..etc..etc...
It now seems..My family, and I are on our own. And think the Fed's / the State are out to screw me..at every turn.
I play defense against my own government day in, and day out. And that's back asswards...IMO...
Period.
