There’s really nothing really very special about that ammo anyway. Otherwise, the military would not be replacing it.

Nope, just cheap as hell when I bought pallet loads of it back in 2005-2006.

I didn't know there was "AR-15 rifle and AR-15 ammo"; my old 2005 Bushmaster Type 21-S Carbon Fiber Pistol 5.56mm/.223cal, Serial #D080xx wasn't picky. It ate everything I fed it, in 5.56mm and .223cal.
