Seriously the parents need to relieve the school board of office next meeting and take over from there.

School directors are elected officials ... I don't think you can just relieve them of their duties

Since I got elected in Nov 2013 (write in for a vacant seat ... no one more surprised than ME to learn ... I won with 1 !) ... I've come to believe this is probably a more important job than president
