Maybe, maybe not. If it's a lefty trolling by trying to be a caricature of a right-of-center Christian, it is so light and near-subtle that the only person they are amusing, is themselves. The mockery, if it is that, is only mockery if you are so far to the left that your feet have departed the planet Earth.
The other option is that they are sincere, but poorly spoken. I actually suspect the latter.
