CBS evening news just reported Kyle was sitting in his truck and text Littlefield while at the gun range that Routh was straight up nuts. So, they knew he was wacko so should have already been aware.

Yes I saw that. I don’t understand why they didn’t just cancel the gun range right then. They had to know he was unstable.
