A nuke has a specific isotope profile. Nobody has detected fission products, and if it had been a nuke, people would be all over the isotopes in the air because of UN and USA air monitoring.
Brian Williams felt the radioactivity, but was helpless to do anything to prevent this nuclear tragedy, though he was standing a mere 20 feet from the blast. “When you see people you were just talking to incinerated and dying from radiation poisoning.....it just makes me glad that I’m a journalist and immune to radioactivity.” Williams said.
