Amen to that.. One of the things that always bothers me about the left is the idea of borrowed credibility. For some reason they seem to think that credibility comes from the position they hold and that it is not a character trait.
For example, Eric Holder is assumed to have credibility because he is the Attorney General and “everyone knows” the Attorney General is the highest law enforcement officer in the land. It’s a circular argument that the left has mastered and exploited for decades to the point of utter exhaustion.
This trick has filtered down through Government to the point where the ranks are filled with dishonest players milking the credibility of their civil service positions for personal and political gain.
Will this lead to a crisis of confidence as people slowly begin to figure out that just because you are in a high position, does not automatically mean you are credible? Too early to tell at this point, but the sacking, albeit temporary, of Brian Williams is a promising sign.

Unless it’s a republican holding the office, then it become simply a matter of a ‘corrupt person abusing his position’- Can you imagine if a republican holding htat office had doen 1/10’th the crap holder did?
