Israel is in election fever, and it is commonly recognized that the medias representation of candidates and political parties has an impact on public perceptionbut how does the public perceive the media?
A new survey conducted by the Smith Institute which is to be published by Channel 20 on Tuesday night probes just that question, and finds that the public overwhelming thinks the newscasters presenting them vital information have a pronounced bent to the far left.

Indeed, the public is correct.
Thank goodness it’s not just here in the USA that we have to put up with the socialist propaganda on TV.

The editor's first response was ‘if conservatives were qualified, they would be hired’. (The paper he wrote for - one that everyone here would recognize - did NOT have one conservative on staff...) When I pointed out his same excuse had been used to keep women and blacks out of newsrooms he backed off on the comment.
Maybe we need to guilt-trip the MSM - or explain ‘diversity of thought’ or something..
That would be nice, but they really don’t care. They’re the ones that put forth the meme that Republicans/Conservatives are stupid. We are ‘stupid’ because we don’t agree with their ideology. He believes that Conservatives aren’t ‘qualified’ because of our ideology. I won’t hold my breath waiting for them to change.
