SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. —
A history book used in school districts across the state is sparking controversy in Seminole County.
A parent called 9 Investigates after finding out his son was learning too much about the Islamic religion in a public classroom.
Ron Wagner read from part of his son's world history book, "There is no god, but God. Muhamad is the messenger of God."

Wagner is not reading the Five Pillars of Islam from the Quran, but rather his son's 10th-grade world history book from Lyman High School.
"Students were instructed to recite this prayer as the first Pillar of Islam, off of the board at the teacher's instruction," Wagner claims.
Wagner, who is not religious, said he had no idea the public school was teaching so extensively about religion until he spotted a text on his son's phone from a teacher reminding him to complete a prayer rug assignment and study an Islam packet.
"For it to be mandatory and part of the curriculum and in the textbooks, didn't seem right," Wagner said.
Inside of the book is a chapter dedicated to the "Rise of Islam," including prayers and scriptures from the Quran. What's more disturbing for Wagner is that the first 100 pages discussing Judaism and Christianity are missing. The district blames a manufacturer defect in 68 books that are only a year old.

I am curious about a manufactures defect that is used in the classroom. Why were these books not returned for replacements?
I am a bit suspicious that perhaps the choice made to purchase this particular text book was influenced by a grant from Saudi royalty.
The Most sad part of this story is that only ONE DAD got bothered!!! Parents are pathetic these days.

why do I figure that mr blasewitz’s motive is not so much he loves islam, but using it as just one tool to push Christianity out of American life.
Heads need to roll on this one starting with the person who stormed out of the interview.

better start being clear that we need to defend our faith and our way of life. Lest we loose them.

In a recent interview on CBN News, Andrew White, an Anglican priest known as the “Vicar of Baghdad,” tried to recount the horrific atrocities Christians in Iraq are suffering at the hands of the Islamic State. After explaining how Christian minorities fled Baghdad to Ninevah when Islamic militants began terrorizing them and bombing their churches, White said:
Then one day, ISIS, the Islamic State, the Islamic caliphate came [to Ninevah] and they hounded all of them [Christians] out. Not some, all of them. And they killed huge numbers. They chopped their children in half; they chopped their heads off.
It should be noted that the targeting of Christian children in Iraq goes back years before the creation of ISIS. For example, in June 2008, a Canadian parliamentary committee heard about how “militant Muslims” were crucifying Christian children: “Since the war began in 2003, about 12 children, many as young as 10, have been kidnapped and killed, then nailed to makeshift crosses near their homes to terrify and torment their parents.”

What it does include ….. is the Shahada and the Five Pillars of Islam. The Shahada is an Islamic creed declaring belief in the oneness of God and the acceptance of Muhammad as God’s prophet. It is recited to convert someone to Islam. That’s right… they are actively converting your children to their religion.
