In my opinion, their burgers taste pretty much like they always have. I think they're still better than Wendy's, Burger King, and Jack In the Box. And I think Five Guys is overrated.

The problem is their food is cold. Many times I get cheese on a burger and the cheese is even cold. The steamers they have for warming suck. If you still want a good burger from them, order a Quarter Pounder with cheese 'made fresh'.

They need to go back to making fresh food, putting it under lamps and tossing it after it sits for a certain time. Heck, they don't even need to throw it out. Give it to charity.

Maybe if you are going in at odd hours, or if it is a rogue franchise, the food is cold. But where I go, the fries and burgers are being made constantly, as they are being ordered. They don't have time to get cold. If anything, you wait two or three minutes until the items are finished cooking, and they are usually served within 30-60 seconds of coming off the grill or out of the fryer.
